The word aloha is compromised of two words. Alo, which means "face", and ha which means "breath". It was the way the Hawaiian people would greet each other. Face to face, nose to nose, breath to breath, a very intimate personal gesture. Here is my baby greeting me in the old Hawaiian way. Hey Lauren, Wednesday said you taught her this!!! Imua !!!
