October 13
Today starts the work week for Jack so that mean its up to me to do the blogging. I have been sooo busy with school that Jack gave me a break and had everyone do a home WOD. I had to sit this one out since i have a major exam on friday!
Wednesday's WOD:
1 mile run
2 miles on airdyne
So everyone did really good on this WOD. We really havn't done too many running workouts but everytime we do, everyone seems to be improving. Times are getting faster and the running just seems to be getting a little easier.
October 14
Thursday's WOD:
100 Body squats
100 Pushups
100 Jumping Jacks
Jack decided to give everyone a WOD that went back to the basics today. Squats, pushups, and jumping jacks...FUN! I just couldn't handle another day of no working out so i jumped in and did 100 Body squats. Took me 3:36...not bad. Everyone's times today were pretty fast.
October 15
Friday's WOD:
7 Burpee Box Jumps
25 KBS
4 rounds for time
Everytime a WOD is given with burpees or box jumps, everyone hates it, even myself! Burpees are the ultimate killer for me and for some reason you think the box jumps don't look too bad but they really make you extremely tired. Today, everyone got the double whammy of burpee box jumps, which means instead of jumping straight up at the end of your burpee...you do a box jump. This was everyone's first time doing burpee box jumps so it took a little bit of getting used to the new motion but once they found their groove they were fine.
Everyone did different heights on their box jumps as well according to what they have done in previous WOD's. |
